Up and Running in Minutes
Three steps from an empty account to an agent answering customers on your channels.
Connect Your Channels
Create your Oro account, then connect the channels you want the agent to work: Facebook Messenger, Instagram, WhatsApp, Telegram, LINE, TikTok, YouTube or your Google Business Profile. Each connection is a standard OAuth flow on the platform’s own domain. Oro asks only for the permissions the features you enabled require, and you can disconnect any channel at any time. You need to be an administrator of the page or account you are connecting — Oro cannot request access on your behalf, and it never asks for your password. The token that connection produces is encrypted at rest, is used only by the backend, and never reaches the agent’s sandbox or the app on your phone. Most businesses start with one channel, watch it for a day, then add the rest; nothing about the setup assumes you connect everything at once.
Set Up Your AI Agent
Create an agent for your business and describe it in plain language: what you sell, how you talk to customers, what you will and will not do. Add your products with prices and photos, and the agent answers from that catalogue rather than improvising. You set five kinds of rule — the persona it speaks in, when it may auto-reply, a blocklist of things it must never say, escalation rules that hand a conversation to you, and a schedule. The agent also reads your page’s own history, so its first reply already sounds like the ones you wrote yourself. None of this is code. There is no flow chart to draw, no intent to train and no server to run: you write the brief, the agent plans the work.
AI Handles the Rest
Once activated the agent answers direct messages and post comments across every connected channel, day and night, in the language the customer wrote in. It sends the right product photo with a reply, publishes scheduled posts, reads payment slips a customer sends and flags the transfer for you to approve, and drafts replies to your Google Business Profile reviews. It is one agent with one memory across all of it, so a customer who asks on Instagram and follows up on Messenger is still talking to the same agent about the same order. You keep the decisions: the rules bound what it may do, approval gates sit in front of publishing actions, and an escalation rule hands anything you flagged straight to you.
What you need before you start
Setup takes minutes rather than days, but it goes faster when three things are ready.
Admin access
You must administer the Facebook page, Instagram account, WhatsApp number, Telegram bot, LINE account, TikTok account, YouTube channel or Google Business Profile you are connecting. The platform’s own consent screen is what grants Oro access, so there is nothing to configure by hand.
Your products
Names, prices and photos. The agent answers “how much is this?” from the catalogue you give it, and attaches the matching photo to the reply. A rough list is enough to begin; you can correct it as you watch the first conversations.
A sense of your tone
Two or three sentences about how you speak to customers, and anything you never want said — a discount you do not offer, a claim you cannot make. That becomes the persona and the blocklist.
What the first week usually looks like
Day one — one channel, watching
Connect the channel that gets the most messages and let the agent answer while you read along. Most corrections at this stage are catalogue corrections: a price that moved, a product that is out of stock, a name customers use that you do not.
Day two or three — tighten the rules
You will see the handful of questions that need a human: a complaint, a bulk order, a refund. Those become escalation rules, and from then on the agent hands them to you instead of answering.
The rest of the week — add the other channels
Each new channel joins the same agent, so nothing is set up twice. The persona, the catalogue, the rules and the memory are already there; connecting Instagram after Messenger is one consent screen, not a second configuration.
What stays under your control
The agent works on its own, but it works inside a boundary you draw, and the boundary is explicit rather than implied.
Publishing waits for you where it should
Approval gates sit in front of publishing actions, and payment-slip analysis flags a transfer for you to confirm. Reading a slip is not the same as settling an order, and Oro does not settle one.
You remain the decision-maker
Oro does not make solely automated decisions that produce legal effects, or similarly significant effects, concerning your customer. You configure the agent, you can require approval, and you decide.
Disconnect at any time
Every channel is disconnected from the same screen it was connected on. The agent stops on that channel immediately, and the rest keep running.
Your data stays yours
We do not train models on your data, and we do not authorise a sub-processor to use it for anything beyond producing the response you asked for. Your business data lives in a database of its own, not a shared one.
Questions people ask while setting up
Do I have to connect every channel?
No. Connect one, and add others whenever you like. They all attach to the same agent, so adding a channel never means repeating the setup.
Will it answer in my customers’ language?
It answers in the language the customer wrote in. Several model tiers are chosen specifically for multilingual quality, Burmese included, and you can pick the tier your page uses.
What happens when it is not sure?
Escalation rules decide. Anything matching one is handed to you rather than answered, which is how a complaint or an unusual order reaches a person instead of a guess.
